A Passing Year

The prying lake howls happily
ringing in burnt power
and rusting determinedly in glee.

Springs flower disappears
in shades of grey,
whilst nature rests in honour.

Whilst searing summer laughs; wickedly
and nature strikes in symphonic splendour.
A cloud casts sparkling tints,
and buds open for summer rays

The Autumn moon rests in dark blue patchwork ,
waves roll, ebb and flow
and a single raindrop slides down my windowpane.

Autumn whispers softly
in passing shades of time,
and morning grows with gaiety.
Lightening smiles in teasing lattice,
stars twinkle through the darkness
Winter calls again.
