Vermillion Eve

Wishing for warm Vermillion evenings,
Driven rain beating down,
Negative and emotive,
Pushing,
Wanting for better days,
The mix of thoughts,
Like the rain,
Driving from all directions,
Cold Winters end sighs softly,
In shades of hopeful crimson morn,
This season ascends in decadence.
The sky sighs in sunrise orange patches,
The sodden ground turns brown in mud,
Dulled and saturated,
And the night goes quiet,
Birds flock,
The fount runs,
Beginning anew.
